Baby Steps

In honor of figuring out how to make a link on my blog (go me!). Here are two new creations. The first is a little sort activity on different types of sentences (with way cute monsters). Then I decided that my little second graders are struggling with writing numbers in word form with the triple digits. So I thought it would be a good idea to make number words for my math wall. This way they are able to see how to spell a number quickly and I don’t get a million, Miss Kirch Miss Kirch how do I spell forty? (You know it happens. Every day.)
So here they are and I promise I am working on making my blog legit. Baby steps.

Happy Halloween eve tomorrow!

I would love some love on my blog if you drop by! :)

  1. I found your cute blog through Lindsey. I too am a Utah teacher blogger. You don't have a follow button. I would love to follow you.

Welcome to blogging. You can go to design at the top of your blog and then layout. Choose add a gadget and the follow button is the 9th choice. I would love to follow you too!

If you get the chance, I would love for you to hop over and visit me.

    1. Hey Heather, I love love your blog! I added your button! I think I figured out the follow button so you should give it a shot now and let me know if it doesn't work!

  5. You have a follow by email but still no follow box...there should be one where you'll see all of the faces/profile pictures.

When you go to design and layout it should be on the left at the very top...it will say "Add a gadget". All of the different choices will shop up and the follow button (not by email) will be the 9th one.

I just double checked on my blog and that is what you do...I have shared this with LOTS of other bloggers and it has worked. It can be confusing. Let me know if you still need help. =)

Thank you for visiting my blog and grabbing my button. =)

Halloween and Place Value

So, I survived my first Halloween with my little nuggets. Boy was I exhausted at the end of the day. It was such a fun day though and it really amazes me how much candy little kids can eat. Whoa! I usually am not a huge Halloween lover but the night before went and bought a penguin costume. Pretty great right? Go big or go home!  We also had to get our grades in this week which was oh so much fun. But on the brightside, YAY for inservice days and rearranging my classroom. (pictures to come).  Hope you all had a great Halloween as well and a relaxing weekend!  *freebie alert*  we just finished place value in my classroom so I decided to make a place value bingo and a dino center activity. hope you can put it to use, my nuggets loved them!   Place Value Bingo Dino Place Value
